Started to look into Ghost of Tsushima and

To say that Jin Sakai(Sekai?) has started to grow on me is an understatement

hmmm I'm so stuck between the Taisho and Showa era for the mystic sword au :/ In Taisho's favor, westernization had only jut begun, and the end of samurai culture was still pretty fresh, on the other hand, I already know a decent amount about the Showa era and I am really interested in the whole underlying approach of WWII during that time, but mannn it's a difficult decision ;-;

I could also go for a sort of 'begins in Taisho ends in Showa' approach, which could definitely be interesting cause of the shifting emperors and the whole economy thing they got going on. Plus, there is even more westernization in the middle of all that. Visually, they aren't too terribly different. This way I could explore sub-plots of Japan slowly becoming westernized as well as slowly becoming a stronger military power throughout the au. That would be fun. Hrm.

It definitely won't be Edo period cause even though the Edo period is a really good contender, I think having the samurai culture in there would make it messyyyy, esp cause of Yuichi's family being swordmakers. Like how are they gonna make money if there aren't anymore samurai :/ BUT jokes on ya'll, there were samurai they just were being rebels and shit. So double streessor for the Usagi family of providing weapons illegally. Ohohoh yeah, I like that a lot actually.

Anyway this has been me rambling mostly to myself. I'll likely go with a sort of mid range of Taisho transitioning into Showa, with maybe a cool sub plot about the changing of Japanese society and stuff. Yay!! I love history!!!

Ok so- hear me out- let's put aside the 'saving myself for after marriage' thing for a second (while I do respect it, let's just put it aside for a tiny bit) I feel like when he gets home and the first thing he sees is you like that, on their bed, laying there welcoming him, he'd look at you with those foxy slender eyes of his with this sly smirk (if you know what I mean, you know. If you don't, that's sad and I'm so sorry you don't cuz HONEY you're missing out.) once he's done eye fucking you from the door frame he'd just walk up to you like the fox he is (ok but why do I like- imagine him making some tiny fox squeals too???) he'd just go over to you, get on top of you while placing soft wet kisses then whisper in your ear like "is this the surprise you were talking about when I said I was having a bad day earlier, hm? You're such a cutie, yknow that?" And then nibble at the lobe of your ear. People think that he doesn't enjoy physical contact given the way he is (which might be true lol) but I feel like with his lover he'd be just a snuggly fox and a very soft loaf of bread. (And then daddy toastie comes out Lolol)

Once again, these are all my assumptions so please don't take anything seriously it's all just brainrot I've been having. They're their own individuals and I completely respect them and dearly love and cherish them.

rafe was someone constant in your life.

from when you were little, with scraped knees, lolly pop in hand. you had moved to kildare when you were seven years old, and couldn't fit in at all. you felt like a lost cause, moping around the house. you didn't know who he was, yet you knew there was a bold boy next door, who climbed trees and claimed to have seen peter pan at night. 

yet, you didn't know this about him when you were a small seven-year-old, no you met him at your lowest. 

when your parents told you they were getting divorced. 

"honey, your dad and i.." your mother began, and both of them shared a knowing look, and then your mother leaned closer to you. you felt the turmoil in the air, yet little seven-year-old you didn't know what was going on. 

"your mom and i are getting a divorce." your dad finished the sentence. 

divorce. 

the word sounded foreign to your lips as you tried to whisper it out, the words were too cold as you tried to stretch it out. it didn't sound good. 

"what does that mean?" you asked slowly. 

at this your mother winched, "we'll be having a break. you won't see your dad a lot. maybe for a while," she finished, giving your dad a cold look. he seemed to cave into himself, and when you tried to meet his eyes he gave you a sad smile. 

you heard your voice go shakey, "divorce?" 

"honey-listen, you'll have two christmas, two birthdays-" your dad began almost to console you. 

instead, you felt your heart race and hot tears pool in your eyes. 

the question you begged to ask was 'why,' and then you wanted to scream, yell and tear the house down. 

but you did none of that, instead, you sat there, your hands shaking and hot tears streaming down your face. as a seven-year-old this was too much to process, too much to think about. 

your pretty dress was drooping, and before you knew it you were sprinting as fast as you could, a horrible croaking coming out of your mouth. the wind whipped in your face, and your chest heaved as you made it to the park. 

the park with its whimsical trees, and its cool wind. you picked berries nearby, and let yourself get dizzy on the swings. the slides were high and daring. it was the place of adventure, and to you, it was a place of safety. 

suddenly a small hand tugged at your hair. you gasped looking up to a roguish boy who squinted down to look at you. he had deep cobalt eyes, and eyed you with distaste. you knew him...he was rafe cameron, a year older than you and lived nearby. 

"why are you crying?" 

your lip wobbled, as you felt your tears fall to the ground. he pulled your hair again, and you cried out. 

"get off me!" you cried out, wincing as you held your hair to your head. he seemed to go still but peeked at you curiously. you felt annoyed now, and instead of crying you glared at him. 

he looked confused now. "look you're not crying anymore." 

"yea' cause you're a big idiot." you spat at him, still rubbing the spot on your head. he was a daring boy to do such a thing to you, and if you weren't so messed up you wouldn't hesitate to beat him up. 

"why are you crying?" rafe asked you again, and this time you sniffed and turned away from him. 

"just cause." 

he shrugged now, "i make my sister cry sometimes," he confessed sheepishly, "i shave her barbies hair off, and dad told me i should stop." 

you frowned at him, "that's not really nice." 

"well, you're not nice either 'cause you're lying to me right now." 

that was a fair point, and you found yourself defensively clutching your dress, your hands reaching for something to ground you.

"my parents are getting divorced." 

saying out loud made it more real. 

"that's it?" 

you felt your anger bubble up now, giving another cry. "what do you mean that's it? they were talking about different holidays, and i heard them fight. they scream and yell and- and i'm really scared." 

at this, the boy sobered and kicked the weeds under his foot. 

"sorry." 

you shook your head at his apology, swatting him away. he was an idiot this boy, a mean one at that too. you couldn't believe what he was saying to you. this small idiot of a boy. 

"can you leave now?" you told him, ordering him almost. yet he didn't respond to you. finally, you raised your voice, fists balled up. "leave me alone!" 

"why?" 

he looked confused, dangling his feet below the bench, and staring at you with that intense look. you wondered where his parents were, and then second you wondered if your parents were looking after you. 

you struggled for words now, "i don't like you very much, and you're mean, and-and i don't like people seeing me cry." 

"i'll tell you a secret." 

this piqued your interest, and you tried to pretend like it didn't. but the rafe seemed to notice the way you twitched in interest, and grinned at your curiosity. he inched closer to you, bumping his shoulders next to yours. 

"what is it?" you asked him annoyed, yet you couldn't help but look up at him. 

"you look ugly when you cry." 

your breath caught in your throat, the words hitting you like a punch to the gut. the fleeting moment of curiosity evaporated, replaced by a surge of hurt and anger.

"how dare you?" you muttered, your voice trembling with indignation. "that's not a secret, that's just mean!"

the rafe's grin faltered, his cobalt eyes widening in surprise at your sudden outburst. but instead of apologising or backtracking, he seemed to double down on his callousness.

"hey, i'm just being honest," he retorted, his tone defensive. "if you don't like it, tough!"

"why do you hate me? you don't even know me," you cried out. 

finally, he stiffed, and then folded his arms, and then whispered something under his breath. you couldn't help but gruffly sigh, as you noticed he wasn't going anywhere.

"what did you just say?" 

rafe scowled now, "i was gonna tell you to smile more, 'cause you'll look pretty then, but you interrupted me!" 

"-and that will make what you just said to me?" 

rafe's scowl deepened, but beneath the defiance in his gaze, you caught a glimpse of something else—a flicker of uncertainty, perhaps even regret.

"i thought you might feel better," he muttered giving you a dirty look. yet behind his eyes, you saw confusion. 

"well, it didn't." 

with that, you turned on your heel and stormed away, refusing to give him a piece of your frustration.

“Dom?” You called out as you neared the dressing room. A chorus of ‘he’s not here’ rang in your ears but you continued on anyway. Dom wouldn’t just up and ditch you like this.

You walked next to a janitor’s closet when suddenly you got pulled in, pinned against the door by him.

“Did I scare you, mami?” He asked as you looked straight up at him, honestly stunned at how close his face was. His hand gently brushed away some hair from your face before moving back down to grip your waist. Your eyes darted between his eyes and lips. He smiled sweetly, but it didn’t make the butterflies in your stomach settle. He really wanted to kiss you, and you couldn’t help but wonder what this little surprise even was.

“Why were you just..hiding in the janitor’s closet?” You asked as he started peppering kisses onto your neck, leaving goosebumps all over your skin. You closed your eyes, trying desperately to calm your heartbeat. It only seemed to speed up more whenever he did that.

He finally stopped kissing you and whispered, “Just wanted to surprise you, mami.” He leaned down and pressed a light kiss into your jawline. When his lips met yours it left an overwhelming sensation behind. One that made you want to pull him closer and never let go again. His hands traveled lower on your body until they found their place around the base of your thighs, lifting you up and holding you flush against him.

While you two kissed, you both heard a knock, breaking the kiss as you two looked at each other and contemplated what to do. He smirked, “Maybe we should get going. Wouldn’t want anyone to think we snuck off or anything.” You blushed as he slowly placed you back on your feet. He reached forward to grab your hand and you intertwined your fingers with his.

The rest of the evening passed by pretty quickly, then RAW started and both you and Dom were hanging out in The Judgment Day clubhouse, waiting for your segment to start.

Dom was currently on his phone while he occasionally shot glances at you. You were looking through your Instagram feed, reading the posts about Dom’s match today.

You always enjoyed getting to see what fans were thinking of your boyfriend, your Dom. It made you feel special.

Your thoughts were interrupted by him putting an arm around your waist, pulling you into his side. You looked up at him with a raised eyebrow and a smile. He returned it with a smirk of his own before he spoke, “You know how I always get sweaty after my matches?”

You nodded slowly, “Yeah…”

“Well, I could use a shower tonight so…want to join me?” He mumbled so only you could hear and gave you another smirk that made your knees weak.

You tried to play it cool as you tried comprehending what he said and why the fuck he sounded so hot saying it, before he just smirked and whispered, “Piénsalo, mami.” Before walking off.

He turned to look over his shoulder at you with one final wink before disappearing from sight.

What the fuck just happened? You thought to yourself as your mind raced to catch up with everything Dom said. You knew Dom had a dirty streak. He definitely liked to tease people, and you knew that he did that because he liked seeing them blush.

While lost in your own thoughts, Rhea approached you and tapped you on the shoulder, almost towering over you because of those big ass platform boots she always wore.

“What’d Dom say?” She asked, snapping you out of your thoughts as she looked at you expectantly. You blinked a couple times before answering. “Oh y’know, just shit about how he’d win and all that.” You lied, and Rhea raised an eyebrow. “Really?”

“Uh yeah. Why?” You felt stupid for lying to her. She was your best friend, sure, but that didn’t mean you could tell her everything.

“No reason, just wondering why I heard stuff in you two’s dressing room last week.” She said with a shrug, and you immediately blushed and scrambled for a reply, knowing damn well what you two were doing. After you caught your breath, you said, “Oh, uh he was just talking to me about some stuff, you know, personal stuff.” You lied, (again), and Rhea nodded with a scoff.

“Personal stuff? So why was he saying ‘oh fuck, right there mami’?” Rhea asked again, sporting a smirk as your face was flushed. She heard?! Well, shit.

“Don’t worry,” She laughed as if she sensed your panic, “I won’t tell anybody.” You let out a sigh and relaxed a bit, smiling at her. “Thanks..” You trailed off, still unsure of what else you could say without being too obvious about how embarrassing this even was.

“No problem. But don’t fuck in my dressing room, please. I like having a clean room.” You chuckled nervously and nodded, thanking her before walking towards the monitors to watch Dom’s match.

While he was doing pretty good (still paired with that fucking bobblehead, you hated that guy) he kept doing moves that made you wince or go ‘damn’, knowing full well that he’d be okay.

Obviously they lost because of JD, but Dom didn’t care as he just went over towards you, smiling as he looked down at you.

“Did I do good?” He asked, his smirk growing wider.

“Yeah, but you keep scaring me with those big ass flying moves. You’re gonna bust your face open one day cause of that.” You said as you crossed your arms, and he pouted like a child before rolling his eyes.

There was a beat of silence before you smirked, looking at him as you fiddled with those shirts he wore around his waist.

“Hey, Dom?”

“Yeah?”

“I think I’m ready for that shower now..”

Satoru is mellow and laid back and goes with whatever flow you set, dominating him in any capacity isn't really a challenge as much as getting him to fall into a domestic routine, guy was raised with servants around and then jumped into having homies, i don't think dating in general is something easy for him to navigate, so while he does depend on you to take his hand and guide him, he still is very hesitant when it comes to more intimate things, for example he cuddles you and takes you on dates but waking up to breakfast in bed or coming home to you making him dinner will have him malfunctioning a little (its pretty cute lol)

Suguru thooo,, its so much more tricky, here is where the first impression you make REALLY matters, if you come off as sweet and polite and a little shy, he is jumping straight to babying and cooing and you likely won't have a chance to show him that you can offer him the same treatment (hes really awkward about receiving it lol) coming off as more assertive and even making the first move gives you a much better chance at turning the tables on him, however you will have to keep your guard up at all times and put in a lot of effort to make sure habits and patterns form (it's like training a dog TAT) if it doesn't naturally come to you it eventually gets exhausting and he fucking will swoop in and cradle you in his arms and its gonna be really really nice and you're gonna be tempted to stay in his hold forever, giving in will set your fate for fucking ever <////3

In both cases suguru really just craves your validation loooolll, if he likes you he does things for you, if u strike as someone who needs to be taken care of (first example) then he's taking that shit and running miles with it and you likely won't be able to catch up TAT its one of the traits i definitely consider to be a flaw in him, and that is that he believes he knows your needs more than you do (which is why suddenly attempting to take the reigns from him will be met with cooing and kisses, he's horrible anon <///3) he's got a serious case of care taker complex (is that a thing?) Pretty much. For one they have a big age gap, 21 and 32, and I feel like their very wide difference of life experience leaves very little for the two of them to even have anything that in common. This is a really good question!! I’m still building/shaping what the homeland is like right now, but I got some details down! The Homeland finally has a name now: Attidaya, but people usually call it East of Scalding Sands!☀︎︎ (the name comes from อาทิตยา which is a synonym for the sun! It’s an old word I think, so I don’t hear people say it often— maybe in poems they do.)

Since my OCs are based on Thai literature, the homeland will also be based on Thai culture!

I made some notes on what Attidaya has that other lands don’t, which are Yakshas! Yakshas appear a lot in Thai literature (maybe some, but the popular works have them!)

There’s water nymphs here, a bit uncommon but they’re there! They give off a more pond-ish, swampy vibes— but they’re really pretty! I haven’t designed them yet thooo :,))

Also a place that has merpeople! In Thai literature/mythology, mermaids are usually top naked and wear lots of gold jewelry. I tweaked those details by removing it (I do not wanna draw top naked people💀🖐️) but kept the same design of the tails!

As for why it’s a fallen kingdom, OHOHOHOHO just wanna start by saying that this is a sneak peak to the big project (which will be a comic) that I’m working on!🕺🫶

No one really knew what happened to the fall. And there were many rumors speculating around this topic until one day it became a taboo.

However, everyone can agree on one thing that could possibly relate to the fall of the kingdom; a segment of the country. The only remains of that entire segment is burnt remains, and ash covered soil. Nobody goes there, but it’s not forbidden to visit. Though, you might get some strange looks if you do visit.

Everything was burnt to ashes there. Well— maybe you’d see some pieces of wood standing or a pile of burnt houses but yeah.

Till today, no one including people (or should I say Yakshas) from Attidaya knows what happened. It’s like a big question mark for the topic. Many theories are floating around from time to time, but people don’t usually speak up about it.
